Second draft

Today Seher and I uploaded the footage I recorded over the weekend and after a few blips with iMovie not working properly we finally managed to edit the windows. We were both really happy with the shots after editing the colour and contrast, but we've decided that they look a bit boring. Much to my distaste we've decided to both go away and read up about final cut express this weekend to see if we can use it to produce something a bit more interesting! After watching this a few times I've noticed that putting those first few window shots in has jumbled up the rest of the footage, so next weekend we'll have to have a play around with it so that the footage still goes along with the beat of the music. I forgot to mention in previous posts that the titles in the video are so we know where to put specific bits of footage :)

St Albans

Had a day out shopping with the family in St Albans today and just happened to have the camcorder with me. We decided to go and have a wander around the cathedral and found that there were quite a few, nice stained glass windows. Although there wasn't dust floating around like Seher and I would've liked for our intro, they were big and colourful so I thought I'd get some footage, hopefully Seher likes it! Here are some shots of the cathedral:

Trying to get a 'selfie' with the cathedral, didn't really work!

Colour editing

Today I've spent some time editing the colour of what we've got so far. I altered the saturation to make the colour look slightly duller and upped the contrast so that the footage had a bit of depth after reducing the saturation.
